Another multimedia tool that is popular and effective teaching tool is video. Why use video in the Classroom? Teachers who use instructional video report that their students retain more information, understand concepts more rapidly and are more enthusiastic about what they are learning. With video as one component in a thoughtful lesson plan, students often make new connections between curriculum topics, and discover links between these topics and the world outside the classroom ("Resources").

Great Voki! :) I also like the video you discovered - good content in an unusual format which definitely draws attention. Good to hear you found PP to be a helpful tool in your Public Speaking course - I find them very helpful when providing direct instruction as a visual tool for students, but also a way to keep me on track. One thing to remember when creating them though is to use only visuals or visuals with very little text so your audience can engage with the eye to the presentation but the ear to the speaker (you!).
