The 'old' clickers are likely a thing of the past with the web 2.0 versions of assessment in Kahoot!, Socrative, or even the polling ones (PollEverywhere, etc). Mobile devices are ubiquitous and thus most schools are looking at or already using the BYOD policy to employ the devices for learning - instead of just for social media.
